IBCLC Office Appointment
This is an in-office consultation with an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) to discuss your breastfeeding concerns. Includes pre&post weight checks, oral assessment, position&latch issues and us addressing any concerns you have.
There is a $100 fee for this service. This type of visit is covered by Tricare.
** Please make sure the appointment is booked at a time the baby is ready to eat. (1hr)
In office appointment to check the weight of your baby or to check how much baby is transferring during breastfeeding. This appointment is to use the scale and room, but you will not sit with an IBCLC during this type of appointment.
There is no fee for this service.
IBCLC House Call
This is an in-home consultation with an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) where we come to your home to help with any of your breastfeeding concern. We bring a scale to assess pre&post weights and will do an infant oral assessment to check as well as address any concerns you have regarding breastfeeding.
There is a fee of $200 for service and this type of appointment is NOT covered by Tricare (1-1.5hrs)
In office appointment to get properly fitted for a bra.
There is no fee for this service. (Approximately 15 mins)
Caloric Breast Milk Testing
In office appointment to test your breast milk for it's caloric value and fat content. You will be asked to bring in some previously expressed milk from home and you will hand express a small amount in office to test (about 1 ml).
You will be provided the test results before you leave the office.
There is a $25 fee for this test. (approximately 15 mins)
FREE Healthy Start Breastfeeding Class
If you wish to sign up in one of our FREE Healthy Start classes, held on the third Saturday of each month, please select any one of the open time slots. Any slot will enroll you in the entire class, from 10:00-12:30. We welcome you to bring any support person you wish. For this class we go over the fundamentals of breastfeeding, focusing on the first few weeks.
This is a FREE class.
Q&A- Breast Pump Decision
Do you need help deciding which breast pump is right for you? If you have looked at the reviews, taken our pump quiz and still are unsure and want to see them in person or talk to someone about the different features, then select this appointment.
There is no fee for this service (Approximately 15 min)
Learning My Breast Pump
If you are having trouble figuring out your breast pump or are just struggling with how best to use your pumps features, this is the appointment for you. Come in and sit with us through a pumping session so we can help you maneuver through all your pumps features so you can maximize your output and make pumping a little bit easier.
There is a $100 fee for this service. This type of visit is covered by Tricare. (1 hr)
If you need to cancel or alter your appointment date/time, please contact the office as soon as possible so we can get you on the calendar for another date and so we can open up your time to another mother in need.
